Enhanced color contrasts and a more vibrant palette add visual depth while honoring the product’s brand heritage. The transition from the old to the new theme was designed to be seamless, familiar enough to feel intuitive, yet refined enough to feel fresh.

A design system within a design system. While we grounded the UI in the Zaikio Design System, Keyline remained its own product with its own visual identity. We created a dedicated instance of the system, essentially forking the original and tailoring it to Keyline’s needs.

This approach allowed us to customize and extend components while maintaining structural compatibility. As a result, future updates to the core design system could cascade with minimal friction, ensuring long-term maintainability without compromising brand integrity.
