Initially launched as a standalone store for the public, it grew into a more important entry point for discovery and integration as app flows shifted.
This evolution gave us the chance to rethink the experience, rebuilding the interface with our design system and adopting the new application layout to support seamless transitions between apps and the store.
The previous homepage was long and marketing-driven, with elements pulling attention away from the core purpose of discovering and subscribing to apps.
We reimagined it to be simpler, sharper, and product-focused. The redesign brought clarity to the offering and aligned the experience with user intent: less noise, more utility.
The apps and extensions overviews followed a similar pattern with cluttered layouts and visual distractions that buried the core utility. We stripped away unnecessary elements and simplified the structure, letting the content speak. The result: focused, scannable lists that make browsing and discovery feel effortless.
Card-Based Patterns. To bring structure and clarity to the overviews, we introduced a consistent card system for apps, extensions, and vendors. Each card balances hierarchy and density to surface key information at a glance, while keeping the interface clean and digestible. This pattern not only improved scannability but also laid the foundation for future scalability and reuse across the platform.
Consistent Detail Views. We extended the same principles to the vendor page and all detail views, for apps, extensions, and vendors alike. By aligning structure, hierarchy, and visual language, we created a unified experience across the entire platform. Every page now reflects the same focus: clarity, usability, and content that leads with purpose.
